The Feed My Starving Children All Hands on Hope MobilePackTM will be held at Incarnation Lutheran Church from April 22nd – 26th, 2026.    Over five days, we will host more than 2,000 volunteers to pack 614,000 meals to feed children all over the world suffering from food insecurity.   Our goal is to pack enough meals to feed 1,683 kids for one year.  This will be the 19th MobilePack hosted at Incarnation and we are looking forward to filling Incarnation Hall with enthusiastic volunteers, eager to change lives by feeding God’s kids.

Since 2007, we have hosted over 34,000 volunteers who have packed 10.5 million meals and raised over $3.8 million to combat world hunger.  We need your help in many ways to make this year’s MobilePack a success.

Volunteer

Visit the Volunteer Registration Page and sign up for one or more shifts to pack.  Anyone ages 5-95 is welcome to pack meals. Gather your family, friends, small groups, neighbors, co-workers, student groups, and teams to make it a fun experience for all.  Volunteers are able to sit or stand during their shifts and perform various tasks including labeling, scooping ingredients, weighing bags and sealing.

We will have nursery available during the Wednesday, April 22 shift rom 6-8pm and Sunday, April 26th shift from 10:15am-12:15pm.    We would like families to reserve a spot ahead of time by emailing Jenny Ballman at jballman@incarnationmn.org and provide the names and ages of the children for the nursery.   A minimum of 24 hour notice is requested.

Specialized Volunteers

In addition to packing meals during the shifts listed above, we also need many Specialized Volunteers.  Specialized Volunteers are categorized into two groups:

  • Welcome Ambassadors (1.25 hour shifts) are responsible for greeting volunteers as they arrive, guiding and seating for orientation and distributing nametags, hairnets and jewelry bags when needed.
    • Two to three Welcome Ambassadors per shift (likely those who welcome packing volunteers or direct them to Grace Hall) will be asked to volunteer at the handwashing stations as the packing shift orientation ends and volunteers exit Grace Hall to wash their hands. These volunteers will direct hand-washers to one of two bins designated for composting used paper towels.
    • All ages and abilities are encouraged to sign up.
  • Floor Monitors (3 hour shifts) will oversee 3-4 packing stations. Responsibilities include organizing volunteers into roles to ensure Manna Packs get filled and boxed efficiently, as well as ensuring that packing stations have all necessary supplies.  This role requires volunteers to be on their feet for the entire shift time and be able to hear and communicate effectively in a noisy environment.    This role is great for those who have packed before and are familiar with the process.    Closed toed shoes are required.
    • At the end of the packing shift, Floor Monitors will reset the stations and sweep the floor.   They will be responsible for capturing spilled ingredients for composting when sweeping the floors. Specific instructions will be given during your shift.
