April – We will discuss Unworthy Republic: The Dispossession of Native Americans and the Road to Indian Territory by Claudio Saunt which chronicles the forced migration of Native Americans across the Mississippi River in the 1830’s and the state-sponsored theft of their lands.

May – We will discuss The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon by David Grann. A fascinating story that touches on science, history, and some truly obsessive personalities.

History Book Group for Men
