One of the most exciting times for high school students is when they
receive their driver’s license. For parents, it can come with mixed
emotions--happiness at fewer driving responsibilities, but also some
worry about safety and good choices. This stepping stone is unique in
that it is not a class, but a simple service of blessing for new
drivers and their families!
When: April 22; 9:45 a.m. & 11:45 a.m.
Where:
In Incarnation Hall immediately following the service.
Students
and families face a lot of changes as kids enter into high school.
Students are maturing, they are more independent, and begin to juggle a
lot more responsibilities. In the Entry into High School Stepping
Stone, students and their parents will learn about managing commitments
from a faith perspective and will get a preview of opportunities for
high school students through Incarnation. For part of the time,
students and parents will be on different tracts as students gain an
experience of High School ministry while parents learn more about how
they can continue to guide their child on their faith journey after
Confirmation and throughout high school.
When: September 22, 2012
