Connecting in Grace™

Radical Gifts, Radical Grace

Welcome to the Connecting in Grace™ faith studies for small groups! Connecting in Grace™ gives you a chance to talk about faith topics and how they apply to day-to-day life. It’s also an opportunity to connect with other people in small group conversations.

About Connecting in Grace™
Your small group conversations will follow an outline of easy, informal, open-ended questions to help you get to know one another and gradually grow together as a group. The questions will also give you a chance to share your life and faith stories and to listen and learn from the stories of others in the group and how God has been active in their lives.

The Connecting in Grace™ faith studies are rooted in God’s grace and give you a chance to learn and reflect on how to live out God’s grace in your life. The faith studies were designed and written by the staff at Incarnation Lutheran Church in Shoreview, Minnesota.

The Connecting in Grace™ series is a faith study, but it also offers a model or format for a small group that is easy-to-use for both leaders and participants. There is no homework or preparation for group members. Those who are new to the faith can participate along who have practiced their faith for years. You may use this model to design your small group or adapt the faith study to fit an existing group.

On-Line Faith Study Guides
You’ll find a detailed Leader Guide, with 8 sessions, annotated with tips for leaders. There are 8 sessions of Participant Guides. There is also an Introduction for leaders on how to facilitate a small group experience and a Welcome Guide for group members.

There are six distinct Connecting in Grace™ faith studies in print form. This on-line faith study is called Radical Gifts, Radical Grace. It explores questions such as: How does God’s presence in our daily lives bring us meaning and hope? How can we pay attention, listen and watch for God in each day? God is already with us – how can we be more aware of God’s presence? What are the gifts that come from watching and listening for God?

More of the Connecting in Grace™ faith studies may be available online, based on interest and the comments from participants.
