Incarnation’s Sunday School offers kids ages 3 through 5th grade, the opportunity to connect with God, friends, and caring adults in an engaging environment. Each week, children grow in their faith as they explore God’s Word and learn to connect their faith with their daily lives. Upcoming Events Registration for 2010 - 2011 Sunday School has begun! Please register early to allow for adequate planning for the fall! Registration Form Register NOW for 2010-2011 Sunday School If you haven’t yet registered your child for Sunday School, it’s still not too late. Download and complete the Sunday School Registration form below and turn it into the Children’s Ministry Office before worship any Sunday, or to the Incarnation Office during the week. We currently offer the following Sunday school opportunities: 8:40, 10:00 & 10:40 Sunday school – Note that Sunday school starts 5 minutes prior to worship, to allow families enough time to drop off their children and move into worship. Worship at 8:45 and 10:05 will be held in the sanctuary in a traditional/contemporary blend. Worship at 10:45 takes place in Incarnation Hall. Our Sunday school students will gather for a large group opportunity for storytelling and music, and then be divided by age groups for the learning opportunities. We use the SPARK curriculum published by Augsburg Fortress. This curriculum follows our lectionary, which means that children learn the same message that is being read and taught at our worship services. Wednesday night from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. – This is a new pilot program offered this fall. This opportunity will use the same curriculum as Sunday Morning classes use and will allow families with children in confirmation, or families that want to worship together on Sunday an opportunity for learning at another time. It is our hope to also offer a family meal from 5:00 -6:00 for those who participate. Keep watching for Adult Education opportunities during this time frame as well! This program will require a minimum of 15 kids in each age grouping to sign up by August 1st in order to move forward! To register, please visit the Incarnation Office.
