"Next to the word of God, Music deserves the highest praise. The gift of language, combined with the gift of song, was given to humankind that we should proclaim the Word of God through music."
- Martin Luther
Incarnations Music Ministry has opportunities for people of all ages, offering great ways to connect to the church community!
The graded music program offers opportunities for preschool-age children through adults. Vocal and handbell choirs, and various soloists and instrumental ensembles prepare music and help lead Sunday worship at 8:45 and 10:05 am. At 10:45 a.m. and Sunday@6, bands lead the more casual and contemporary worship services. These groups also perform community concerts at various times throughout the year.
How to get involved There are vocal choirs for kindergarten through adults and handbell choirs for 3rd graders through adults. Primary Music is offered in two 8 week sessions for Pre-K children (age 4-5). The Senior Choir begins rehearsals on August 31. The middle school and high school ensembles begin rehearsals on September 14. The elementary choirs will begin the same time as LOGOS in October. You are invited to join in this ministry opportunity; new faces are welcome in all ensembles.
If youve never been a part of the music ministry before, consider joining this year. Its a great way to grow, serve, and get connected at Incarnation!
