Ministry Partners

Together with our ministry partners, the people of Incarnation strive to serve God and all people in the model of Jesus Christ. As God works through the people of Incarnation to transform lives in Tanzania, Guatemala, and Los Angeles, and the Twin Cities. God also uses our partners to transform our lives.

Incarnation has global ministry partners in Iringa Tanzania, Chontala, Guatemala, and Los A
ngeles California and local ministry partners in the Twin Cities area. Incarnation’s local partners include organizations such as Lutheran Social Services, Ralph Reeder Food Shelves, Habitat for Humanity, and Global Health Ministries.

Ministry Partnerships Based on Relationships
Incarnation’s global partnerships are based on relationships as we connect more deeply with God and one another. Ministry partnerships give those in involved a glimpse into the lives and culture of other faithful Christians, provide the opportunity to see the vast love that God has for all people, and encourage all to live in faith as we worship together and walk together in our daily lives, even though we are separated by many miles.

Families in Transition
Incarnation’s umbrella for local mission efforts is Families in Transition, which currently includes two partnering organizations: LifeHaven and Families Moving Forward.

The Serve Ministry Team developed this focus as they explored a variety of areas and agencies in the metro area that might be a good fit for the people and resources of Incarnation. Since Incarnation’s global mission focus is on relationships, it was deemed important that the local mission outreach efforts should also focus on developing partnerships that have a relational component. The group was excited by the mission and vision of Families Moving Forward, which nicely complements Incarnation’s long-term involvement with LifeHaven.

The Serve Ministry Team also recognizes that Incarnation is a place where families are nurtured as they grow in faith and realize the importance of serving others in a way that connects them to each other and to those whom they serve, so it seemed natural that Incarnation’s local mission focus would be on families who may be experiencing difficult circumstances as they encounter times of transition on their journey through life.
