High School Ministry Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity. --1 Timothy 4:12  High School Ministry opportunities are open to anyone in 9th – 12th grade. High School Ministry is a way for high school students to connect, grow, serve, and invite through ministry opportunities here at Incarnation. Ways to keep connected: check the website frequently for any updates to events and information, Facebook event pages (friend Kristin Porath), emails, monthly newsletters, and occasional postcard reminders. TIM Team Study Hour The Youth Room is open and available for students who would like a quiet place to work on their homework, help others, or simply read a good book!! When: Wednesdays during Lent (February 17 - March 24); 5 p.m.  Casting Crowns Concert A group from Incarnation will be attending the Casting Crowns concert featuring Tenth Avenue North. Tickets are on sale now int he Incarnation Office for only $25!!!! All are welcome!! FREE transportation will also be available for those attending the concert. When: Sunday, April 11; meet near Door 1 at 6:10 p.m. Pizza Fundraiser We will be selling pizzas in Grace Hall and the Gathering Space on Sundays, March 14, 21, and 28. TIM Team (Teens In Ministry) TIM Team is open to all 9th-12th grade students--no training is required! As a TIM Team we provide leadership within different ministry areas here at Incarnation and out in the community. * All activities unless otherwise noted are in the Youth Room* Confirmation Worship Once a month TIM Team is responsible for leading Confirmation worship by providing song leadership, skits, prayer and reading scripture. We will be leading worship on April 21st. Please meet in the Youth room at 5:30 p.m. LOGOS Each week TIM Teamers have the opportunity to help lead Bible studies, worship skills, and to be a table parent for younger members here at ILC. Save the Date: TIM Team Retreat May 21 - 23 A weekend filled with conversations about Incarnation's high school ministry, team building and time together as a high school group. Cost: $75. When: May 21 - 23 Where: Camp Wapo Ongoing Opportunities Beyond service in ministries at Incarnation, there are ongoing opportunities for High School Worship, Service Projects in the Community, and Regular Study Night. Ongoing Opportunities TIM Team Gathering! This is open to ALL high school students looking to get involved here at Incarnation! We meet once a month to talk about what's going on within the TIM Team program and share in conversation and scripture! When: TBA Where: Youth Room High School Worship A casual worship opportunity for youth from the community where we gather in song, scripture and prayer. This year we will also be adding a Bible study component to our monthly gatherings. When: TBA Where: Youth Room Monthly Service Opportunities We gather as a TIM Team once a month to serve those within our community and around the world. The March event will be making fleece blankets that will be given to our ministry partner Families Moving Forward. When: Sunday, March 7; 5:30 p.m. in Youth room Opportunities for High School Parents and Impact Adults Incarnation’s High School Youth Ministry needs adult leadership and presence at all events – this ministry cannot happen without your partnership! If you’re interested in being an adult leader at events, coaching a basketball team, etc, contact Kristin Porath in the Incarnation office. Summertime Opportunities for High School Youth Mission Trip Opportunities Each summer there are new opportunities to grow in faith through a mission trip experience. Last summer, the group went to South Central Los Angeles to work along side our mission partners in New City Parish. This summer we will be hosting a group from New City Parish here at Incarnation from August 3 - 8th. More info will be coming soon. Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp—T.I.M. Team Registration is now open. Registration packets are available at the Information Desk in the Atrium. T.I.M. (Teens in Ministry) Team is a Sr. High leadership experience that is focused on the Church. TIM Teamers will experience a full week of action packed training at the Wapo and Ox Lake sites and then commit to working in their home church during the following year. The training will include relationship-building activities, Bible studies, campfires, chapels, and a time for planning the next year’s activities for their home congregations. The Teamers will also be given placements in cabins with youth from their home congregation.
