Some are focused more on learning and others are designed to help kids experience the love of God. There are opportunities for kids alone, for kids and parents together or for whole families.
While Christian education is an important part of living out the baptismal promises, worship is also an essential element of faith formation so parents are encouraged to worship regularly with their children beginning a lifelong journey of faith together. For some helpful tips on having a good worship experience with your child, click here.

Faith Stepping Stones Faith Stepping Stones are a series of programs designed to build Faith in the Family starting from the time a child is an infant and continuing through their graduation from high school. It is a program that recognizes the incredible impact parents have on the faith life of their children, and works to partner with parents on the faith education of their children. Parents learn practical, effective ways to live and share the love of Jesus in their homes and will gain valuable insight into the spiritual development of their children.
In Childrens Ministries, some of the Faith Stepping Stones are built into the Sunday School Calendar and are a part of the Sunday morning experience. The First Communion Stepping Stone is Incarnations version of First Communion Preparation and is offered on a Saturday morning twice a year. Here are the upcoming Stepping Stones:
Baptism Stepping Stone The first stepping stone, this class is an expectation before baptism for first time parents and those who have come from a non-Lutheran background. We encourage you to take the class before the baby is born. This class is an opportunity to learn more about the meaning of baptism and about how parents and the church will partner together through the years on their children's faith journeys. Parents will learn about faith development, choosing a sponsor and the gift and blessing of baptism. When: TBA
Please register for this Stepping Stone through the Incarnation Office by calling 651.484.7213.
