A New Day – Many of the Easter texts begin the resurrection story with “it was the first day of the week”, in other words, it was a new day for the early followers of Jesus who would overcome their doubt and fear to become courageous witnesses to the faith. For us, too, the power of the resurrection says each day is a new day to experience the grace and love of God. Each day is a new day to express that grace and love to the world.
